WV Flood Tool

Overview

The West Virginia Flood Tool is an interactive web map application developed by the West Virginia GIS Technical Center (WVGISTC) with funding from the West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This application depicts 1% annual chance floodplain boundaries in an online map environment. Map features are connected to geospatial databases that may be queried by users in order to obtain pertinent information that may otherwise be difficult to obtain or relate to specific geographic locations.
