Overview

Our Search tool enables users to locate food resources in their area. We are currently displaying data within the Facing Hunger Food Bank service area, as well as Monongalia county where the FOODLINK team is located. Our research team is working to bring additional counties online with a goal to complete the state by the end of this year.

To use our Search tool, start by selecting a county in the drop-down menu. On the next page you will see all current food resources for that county in the WV FOODLINK database.* For instance, you can search for the location and hours of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHR) and the program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) offices where you can apply for supplemental nutrition assistance (SNAP and WIC vouchers). In addition, you can also search for retail stores that accept SNAP and WIC vouchers. Lastly, you can also search for hot meal programs and food pantries that provide short-term food assistance or meal delivery programs for seniors and residents with disabilities.

Help us work for West Virginians. If you know of a food assistance agency that is not listed or is misrepresented with incorrect information please contact the WV FOODLINK team by email jlohnes@mix.wvu.edu or by phone (304) 293 9661.

*Food resources that are not listed on the map may have requested to remain anonymous or may not be integrated into a regional food bank network. We are currently working to incorporate agencies beyond the regional food bank networks in the coming year. If you would like your agency to be listed in the WV FOODLINK research database please take a moment to complete the Food Assistance Agency Survey
